I’m in love!!! I’ve been looking for a counter top nugget ice maker at a reasonable price (it’s on sale now but still worth the $249 I paid). Easy to set up, simple instructions, has a cleaning option as well and came with as scoop. In under two hours the entire bucket was full. Dumped into my freezer icebox (as I wanted more). But you can also leave the ice in the machine and it will stop when full and notifies you when more water is needed. The 1.1 liters of water made one basket of ice (two 8 oz o spring water used). Really like it. Soft chewy ice. Smart the way it controls when full or needs water. Fairly quiet most of the time. It will make more noise when it first gets going and then calms down as it keeps making ice. Well insulated so the ice doesn’t melt as quickly and the bucket stays full so it doesn’t run all the time like my last one that the ice melted faster it's been about 5 months and the ice maker has stopped working. it says it needs water added after about 20 seconds, but it's full. LOVE!! We were so tired of ice trays, and having an ice maker installed into our fridge/freezer unit was prohibitively expensive. We took a chance on this after looking at probably dozens of options. We've had it for 5 months now and it's perfect! Pros: It keeps the ice cold so it's ready all day whenever we need it. It's easy to fill with water, it fits on our counter under the top cabinets with no issues. We've only had to run the cleaning function about once a month, which since we keep it on and running is a great balance. It's easy to drop the ice bucket into the freezer and hit clean, wait 15 min, drain, replace ice bucket and refill. Simple and quick! Cons: first thing in the morning the ice is of a lower volume due to overnight melt, but at least still 1/2 to 2/3 full. The only place to keep the included scoop is on top of the machine, there's no slot for it to be kept in, which is not optimal but works. Since we run it as 'always on' it sometimes (about once every 2 weeks or so) needs to be reset - it'll lock up and you have to poke the power button gently a couple times to get it going again. Unfortunately, this purchase has been nothing but a headache. I’m about two weeks since this was delivered and I haven’t been able to use it because the pump doesn’t work. I’ve reached out to the company numerous times and at this point they have not been very helpful in resolving the problem. I tried to get an exchange through Wayfair since this ice maker hasn’t worked at all, but Wayfair only sent me to the manufacture.
