Heather: I don’t know how blue glass pan will behave in baking–I haven’t used one before. Clear glass is good, though. But it doesn’t hurt to try and see how it goes before you buy a new pan. Also, is it the right size for the breads? 9″x5″ is a standard pan size. Let me know how it does in the blue glass pan!

Hey there, it did okay in the blue glass pan. But, since I am baking bread every two days (3 young kids and lots of pb&j’s), I went ahead and bought a metal one on amazon. It doesn’t flute out like the glass one. It is more straight up with it’s sides and works much better! I also got a couple muffin top pans for buns. I am trying to make my own veggie burgers in order to avoid some unwanted ingredients in the store bought kind. Saves money too! The buns made at home are so much better than the gluten free ones at the grocery store.

I’ve found this to be especially helpful when a recipe calls for a pan by cup size. I usually don’t know how many cups any particular pan has. But this chart lists pans by cup size and correlates that to the pan’s dimensions, in inches and in centimeters. It’s a great tool!

Hi there, my ingredients are on their way (ordered from Amazon), and I have a question about the bread pan. I have a blue colored glass baking dish the right size for a small loaf of bread.
